Group Therapy

About

What is Group Therapy Program? A group therapy program is a form of psychotherapy. Unlike in an individual therapy program, several patients meet regularly to share their struggles with guidance from a therapist. Although many people initially feel intimidated by the idea of sharing private issues with a group of strangers, research shows working on challenges in this setting is highly effective and rewarding. A group therapy program may be used alone but is often part of a treatment plan, including individual therapy and possibly medication. Many different types of problems can be addressed with group therapy, including Depression, Anger, Grief and Addiction
